Progressive Leathers in Hastings: Fitted loadstools to 6 tanning drums. Weight transmitted to control room via 4-20 mA and shown locally next to drum on remote display using 2 output formats from a single Rinstrum 1203 load cell transmitter.

Fonterra Clandeboye 120t Powder Silos
This project involved the weighing of 3 x 120t milk powder storage silos. Each silo used 4 DSM 3 load cell mounts. Each mount was coupled to a Rinstrum 1203 blind load cell transmitter, allowing the central control system to monitor any vessel settling or unequal weight distribution. Commissioned, levelled and calibrated by us. Milk Powder Silos at Dairy companies throughout New Zealand are fitted with our load cell mounts including Te Rapa, Hawera, Clandeboye, Edendale, and Westland.

This project for Griffins Papakura involved the weighing of 4 x 15t liquid chocolate, jacketed storage vessels, each using 3 x DSM2 11 tonne load cell mounts and a Rinstrum 1203 transmitter fitted with a display. Commissioned and calibrated by us.

Water Treatment
Whanagarei District Council needed load cells for weighing their chlorine drums for water treatment. As our Vishay Celtron load cells have a heavy nickel plating, they were ideal for the job. Each 1000kg chlorine drum got 3 x 500kg SQMB load cell mounts. These were coupled to a load cell transmitter with display.

Tanning Drums
And they said it couldn't be done! Our largest export order, which went to Copenhagen, Denmark. We successfully weighed 3 x 80t tanning drums, 4 x 50t liming drums and one 10t test drum, using a combination of DSM2 and DSM3 load cell mounts with stainless steel, welded seal, Celtron Load cells.
