Amcor Packaging Weigh Conveyors

These two custom weigh conveyors were made in house. The conveyor weighs bales of waste paper trimmings and keeps track of the total. The outer frame is a rugged RHS frame that supports and protects the inner conveyor on 4 SQBM load cell mounts. The SQBM mounts with their rubber pads were ideal for this job as they gave the weigh platform excellent shock absorbtion qualities. The weight indicator in this case was a Rinstrum 2100 with RS 232 transmission to the plant's DCS system.
