Tasty Foods

This project was a simple bread and butter job. The task was to weigh a bulk flour silo. The deadweight of the frame and soft sided silo was 1800 kg and it had a capacity of 25 tonnes.

4 x DSM2 11,200kg capacity mounts were used along with a Rinstrum 2100 weight indicator. We supplied the contractor with dummy mounts to enable correct floor drilling and foot fabrication, and after installation we commissioned and calibrated the system. Resolution achieved was 5kg.
